This taught me lots of transferable skills, including but not limited to quick thinking in fast paced environments, time management, and team communication. After graduating with my degree, I took on the role of Social Media Manager. During this time, I filmed footage promoting the school, improved SEO, and enhanced engagement by 117% in my first month on the job!

My internships for Communications Quarterly Magazine really reignited my spark for writing- something that I have carried with me all my life, but never considered I could bring it into my career until this experience. While most students only take one internship course for their requirements to graduate, I took three courses with the magazine and added to my workload because I enjoyed the writing so much! My writing explored different themes of the magazine such as imagination, voice, and life.

I started @maisietourupdates in April 2023 for one of my favorite artist, Maisie Peters. I wanted to create a space for people who wanted to keep up with her tours and maybe could not attend, finding people at each show to post and keep everyone in the loop. I track down clips of her performances as well as photographers at her show to showcase on the page. I now track 200k impressions on the page monthly, and have made friends all over the world!

My Bachelor's degree is something I am particularly proud of- it took many years of hard work! I studied at Northern Illinois University before finding National Louis University as a place that I could work full time while taking classes. It was challenging to take on this workload, but I was determined and persistent to earn my degree. Studying in a field that I am genuinely interested in, however, made it all worth it. Walking across the stage was so much sweeter knowing how much work I had put into it all!
