Writing Workshop
In July 2024, I, along with many classmates, submitted applications for the Paris Café Writing Scholarship. Little did I know that this application would change my life.
I received the call a month later and cried as I was told that the decision was unanimous. I became the 2025 Paris Café Writing Scholarship winner.

My week in Paris in June 2025 was life changing. I spent it engaging in writer's workshops in the mornings, and people watching along the Seine at night. The sun set almost at 10 pm and I was in another world. I wrote faster than my pencil could carry, and then cried with the women in the workshop on my last morning there, sharing vulnerably and openly. I will forever cherish this time embracing myself as a writer.
